Do you build on my lot, or do you have lots available?+
Both. If you already own land, we’ll walk it with you and talk honestly about what it will and won’t support. If you’re still looking, we can help you evaluate a lot before you buy — so there are no expensive surprises later.
What does design–build mean, and why does it matter?+
Design–build means planning, interior design, and construction are handled by one coordinated team instead of separate firms. You get one point of contact, fewer gaps between drawings and reality, and nobody pointing fingers when a detail needs solving.
Do you handle renovations and additions, or only new homes?+
Both. Kitchens, baths, additions, and whole-home renovations get the same craftsmanship, the same trade collaborators, and the same standards as our new custom homes.
How much does a custom home in Williamsburg cost?+
Every home is priced around what you actually want, so there’s no honest single number. After a conversation and a look at your site, we put scope, allowances, and schedule in writing before anyone breaks ground.

Yes. Summerwind Homes holds Virginia Class A Contractor license #2705181993 and is fully insured. A certificate of insurance is available on request.
